Get to know me

I’ve always felt that for counselling to be effective, the relationship between you and your counsellor just has to be real and personable. You know that stereotypical view of therapy where you’d lay on the couch and the therapist would sit behind you taking notes? Well, that’s basically the opposite of how I think therapy should be. Luckily, that doesn’t happen so much anymore but still, many clinics continue to deliver an impersonal, robotic style of therapy. So, I started a practice where therapy is about creating a connection and getting to know you deeply so that I can truly understand and address what’s really going on for you at the core.
